"When I decided to get serious about my fitness after I had a baby, I knew exactly who to turn to.  Not only had Kristen had a baby herself and gotten herself in great physical shape, I trusted her because she has always known a lot about fitness and nutrition.  From the very beginning of training, Kristen went out of her way to help me find foods that I could eat for my strict vegetarian diet.  She took into account my picky food choices and helped me find lots of nourishing foods to aid in my weight loss.  Kristen created a personalized workout for me each day, five days a week, so that I would never get bored with the same old routine.  She likes to switch up workouts so that you are always working out different muscle groups and so that you don't overwork one particular muscle.  After just a few days, the pounds started dropping off.  I was seeing my body shrink and my muscles were toning up.  In two months of training with her, I lost over 15 pounds, but I looked like I had lost 40! The results were amazing and the support and encouragement were phenomenal.  For all new moms, Kristen knows how to get you back into your prebaby body , or better, because she was/is a new mom herself!  I have carried out her techniques for eating and working out for months now and I am now only a few pounds from my target weight! In May 2008, I had a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately, I also gained a lot of weight and was having a difficult time getting back down to my pre-baby weight. I was very frustrated that I could not fit into my “regular” clothes and my motivation seemed to decline every day. 
I belonged to the same gym before, during, and after my pregnancy and I met with Kristen during one of the classes she was teaching. Kristen was also a personal trainer. We had a consultation and finally I was so excited to have someone that could help me lose the weight! She was very flexible so we were able to coordinate our schedules and we met three times a week. She made me work muscles that I did not even know existed! We did a lot of cardio and cross training. Each day, I worked my way up and was doing things that I did not know my body was capable of doing.
Kristen also worked with me on a low carbohydrate, high protein nutritional plan. It was great because it was not a diet, but provided me alternative choices for healthy living. My little girl is now three years old and I have kept my weight off. I also continue to make fitness a part of my everyday life and cannot thank Kristen enough for all of her help and knowledge she showed me along the way.
